Concrete and Mortar Improvers offer various improvements through physical-chemical ways:

Polyurethane systems consist of advanced technology materials that offer resistance to weathering and aging. They have a wide range of applications and due to their excellent chemical and mechanical strengths offer top protection to applied surfaces.

Ready mixed mortars offer top quality construction with low cost. The user needs to add only water this way minimizing the chances of error in the mixture of the applicable material. These special mixtures can be applied on pre-made dry mortar and allow new products to enter the market. The use of premixed bonding mortars in the form of tile adhesive and colored joint grout has changed the tile installation process on walls and floors by introducing the thin layer bonding method. The variety of types of products covers all installation needs. The easiness of installation and long pot life of the tile adhesive, combined with the large color variety of the tile joint grout are characteristics that only a premixed industrial mortar can offer.

 

Water based emulsion paints for inorganic construction surfaces. They are distinguished in plain decorative paints, specials paints and primer for substrate preparation. Covers all application needs: high breathing ceiling paints, high durability emulsion paints, fair-faced masonry acrylic paints, fungicide for dumb surfaces and high quality acrylics for walkable floors offering an ideal quality / cost.

Organic coatings are the final layer of composite External Thermal Insulation Systems (ETICS).

ETICS have been established as a method of external thermal insulation because they offer an optimal solution in terms of structural physics (application on the outer side of the building shell) but also significant construction advantages (external architectural formation of the building, renovation without interruption of the functions of the building).

The organic final coatings meet all the requirements that must be ensured by the exposed to multiple physico-chemical effects surface of the building.

They offer great adhesion to the substrate, flexibility, waterproofing as well as water vapor permeability (breathability of the construction).

They are easy to apply (ready to use) and in a small thickness. Finally, due to their color adjustment, they make the external painting of building facades unnecessary.

Waterproofing materials are used to restrain water from entering building elements: Terraces, walls, basements, tanks etc. Selection of the ideal product is based on the construction parameters and especially the type of water pressure. The versatility of waterproofing is treated with a large range of products especially in cases where joints and cracks must be sealed. Sealants – Joint Adhesives must demonstrate continuous elasticity and excellent bonding to all type of surfaces, resistance to weather conditions, esthetic result (color or paint option). Depending on each case there is an optimal choice of sealant product.

Fiberglass meshes are applied as reinforcement in various cases:

α) Between waterproofing layers for added durability.
β) Resin coating improvement ex. Epoxy coating on floors or the back face of marble plates.
γ) Improvement of cement-mortar floors or application over thermo-insulating boards (thermal facades).
Strengthens each type of coating, in which they are embodied, thus increasing tensile and impact strengths and eliminate cracking from shrinkage setting.

An External Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS) consists of specific materials with specific structure and function that are used for the thermal insulation of the external walls of buildings. Thermo-insulation plates are fixed onto the substrate with the use of glue and special anchors, and are covered by an external coating. This coating is based on a slurry (basic coating) that is reinforced with fibreglass mesh and is completed with the final coloured coating.

An ETICS provides:

  • the most correct application of thermal insulation in construction physics terms
  • protection of the building exterior from all forms of moisture
  • free architectural and colour formulation of facades
 
Drainage Membranes are applied in underground construction for minimizing the negative impact of water, as an advanced technological product. They protect the waterproofing of underground construction by replacing the infill concrete under foundations and also installed in roof gardens under the soil in combination to geotextiles. No special installation crew is required and the cost is considerably low. Geotextiles are non-woven fabrics made by polypropylene fibers. They are used as ground filter or reinforcement-separation membranes and also in reverted insulation (between gravel and thermal insulation), in roof gardens and over sensitive waterproofing membranes. They separate the backfill layers from the instable subsoil by preventing sinkage and allowing better concentration and increase of their strengths. Geotextiles during drainage pipes construction prevent incoming fine dust particles and prevent erosion of dams, bridge foundation and supporting walls.
