We absolutely respect the privacy of your personal data and make every effort to protect it, in full compliance with existing legislation and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27.4.2016 on the protection of natural persons against of the processing of personal data (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter GDPR).

This Privacy Policy aims to understand what data we collect, why we collect them and how to update, manage, export and delete your data.

We are transparent about what we do with your personal data, so you understand the implications of how we use your data and the rights you have in relation to your data:

·         We have all the information contained in this Privacy Policy always available to you, so that you can access it when you deem it necessary.

·         You will also find additional information about each processing of your data during your cooperation with us.

Basic concepts regarding the processing of personal data

·         Controller: is the person who determines the purposes for which the processing is carried out as well as the way in which personal data is processed or is likely to be processed. The Data Controller in this case is the Company VIMATEC N. VIDALIS S.A. A controller may appoint a Processor to process personal data on his behalf.

·         Personal Data: is any information concerning an identified or identifiable natural person. An identifiable natural person is one whose identity can be ascertained, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identity number, location data, an online identifier or one or more factors that characterize the physical, physiological, genetic, psychological, economic, cultural or social identity of the natural person in question. Natural persons who are the subject of information processing are called data subjects. There is a subcategory of personal data, the so-called sensitive personal data. These cover information about racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs or trade union membership, a natural person's health or sex life or sexual orientation as well as genetic data and biometric data that are processed in order to uniquely identify a subject. This category is subject to additional safeguards and is treated with caution.

·         Processing: processing means any operation involving data, which includes any operation or set of operations performed on personal data or sets of personal data, with or without the use of automated means, such as collection, registration, organization, structure, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, retrieval of information, use, communication by transmission, dissemination or any other form of disposal, association or combination, restriction, deletion or destruction.

·         Consent: article 7 of the General Personal Data Regulation has modified the conditions required for consent as a legal basis for data processing to be valid

2. FOR WHAT PURPOSE DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA

VIMATEC N.VIDALIS S.A. takes the security of your personal data very seriously. We do everything possible to protect your personal data from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorized access, modification or disclosure.

The measures we use include implementing appropriate access controls, investing in the latest information security capabilities, and ensuring that personal data is encrypted and anonymized where possible.

Access to your personal data is only permitted to our employees and partners only as necessary and subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations when processed by third parties.

 

 

 

 

6.  HOW LONG WE WILL KEEP YOUR DATA

 

We will keep your personal data for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it is processed.

We retain the identifiable data we collect directly for targeting purposes for as little time as possible, and then use measures to permanently delete it.

We actively review the personal data we hold and securely delete it or in some cases anonymize it when there is no legal or business need to keep it.

Regardless of how we process your data for the period strictly necessary to achieve the respective purpose, we will then keep it properly stored and protected for the period during which liability could arise from the processing, in accordance with the current legislation. Once the statute of limitations has passed for each claim we will proceed to delete the personal data.

We may modify the information contained in this Privacy Policy, when we deem it necessary. When we publish changes to this statement, we will review the "Last Updated" date at the bottom of this Statement. If the changes are important, we will send you more visible statement. 10. PROTECTIVE MEASURES

VIMATEC N.VIDALIS S.A. is committed to ensure maximum security and confidentiality of data collected from the website.

The website uses the electronic security protocol Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). SSL uses methods for secure data exchange, establishing a secure Internet connection and preventing malicious actions. The browser used by the user informs him that he is on a secured website with the symbol of the SSL certificate and guarantees the secure exchange of data.

11.   VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM (CCTV)

 Purpose

We use a video surveillance system (CCTV) in order to protect persons and goods (security). The processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests we pursue as a data controller (article 6 par. 1. GDPR).

Our legitimate interest is based on our need to protect our premises (factory, offices, and storage places) and the goods that are in them, from illegal acts, such as theft and vandalism. We also aim to protect the lives, the physical integrity, the health and the property of our employees and third persons (visitors, providers etc.) who legally enter the spaces under surveillance. We only collect video data and limit the video surveillance to spaces that we regard as elevated danger zones for the committing of illegal actions e.g., theft and vandalism at the perimeter, internal areas and at the entrances, without focusing on areas where the privacy of the persons being video shotting may be severely restricted, including their right to respect for personal data. The video surveillance system is not used to monitor employees in their workplaces.

VIMATEC N.VIDALIS S.A. has installed at several key points of the premisses, information signs, according to the standards and the relevant Instructions of the Personal Data Protection Authority, where the interested parties (employees, visitors, providers, etc.) are clearly informed about the points where Cameras are installed, as well as for the contact details of the Company, so that anyone who wishes, can send a request regarding the processing of his personal data. VIMATEC N.VIDALIS S.A. processes the absolutely necessary data (data minimization), for the protection of goods and persons and does not further process the personal data, for purposes other than the predetermined and the ones described above.

Recipients

The recorded video data is only accessible by the authorized personnel (Learership, DPO etc.). The data is not transferred to third parties, with the following exceptions:

a)           To the responsible judge, district attorney or the police, in case it is needed for the investigation of a criminal action that is aimed against employees or goods of the Data Controller.

b)           To the responsible judge, district attorney or the police for the fulfilment of their duties, when there is an official and legal request.

c)           To the victim or the perpetrator of an illegal action, if it is likely that this data can be used as evidence for the action.

Storage time

We keep the recorded video data for …………… (….) days. After this period the data is automatically erased. If, in this timeframe, there is an incident of illegal action, we will isolate this part of the video and will keep it for one more (1) month, if this is necessary for further examinations and legal action for the protection of our vested interests. If the illegal action is aimed against a third person, we will keep the video for a maximum of three (3) more months.
