REINFORCEMENTS OF WATERPROOFING MEMBRANES & COATINGS
Fiberglass meshes are applied as reinforcement in various cases:
A) Between waterproofing layers for added durability
B) Resin coating improvement ex. Epoxy coating on floors or the back face of marble plates
C) Improvement of cement-mortar floors or application over thermo-insulating boards (thermal facades)
Strengthens each type of coating, in which they are embodied, thus increasing tensile and impact strengths and eliminate cracking from shrinkage setting.
