Non-woven geotextiles from polypropylene (PP) or polyester (PES) fibres
These are used as a membrane-filter and as reinforcement for drainage systems (for protection from penetration by fine materials), as well as beneath ballast to control the erosion of dams or embankments and to prevent the erosion of bridge and retaining wall foundations. They are also used as separators and reinforcement between land filling and subsoil in road and railway construction. They are used in the inverted insulation of flat roofs and roof gardens as a protective membrane-filter.
